Vegan Puff Pastry Pizza Twists

Who doesn’t a simple and super delicious airfryer vegan snack?

These incredible vegan puff pastry pizza twists are so tasty and can be quickly whipped up in your airfryer or oven in only a few minutes - making these the ideal quick vegan snack!

Having puff pastry available in the freezer is an absolute ESSENTIAL in this household. With two young kids, it’s a great ingredient to whip up a variety of quick and tasty vegan snacks, but these vegan puff pastry pizza twists are always a winner.

Toppings can be whatever you like, but I've just stuck with vegan cheese and ham combination, giving it a very simple and delicious pizza vibe.

If you want to spice these vegan puff pastry pizza twists up a little bit, trying adding in olives or even everyone’s favourite pizza topping - pineapple!

This recipe has been adapted for airfryers, but it can be very easily adjusted to work in an oven also.

INGREDIENTS

Vegan Puff Pastry Pizza Twists

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed⁠

  • Tomato paste⁠

  • Grated vegan cheese⁠

  • Vegan ham⁠


METHOD

  • Lay out your puff pastry sheet and spread tomato paste over half of it.⁠

  • Evenly spread your toppings over the tomato paste (cheese, ham etc.). Fold puff pastry in half⁠

  • Using a sharp knife, cut thin strips (about 3-5cms). Grab strips and gently twist⁠

  • Place twisted puff pastry strips into an airfryer or oven, cooking until lightly browned. ⁠
