CINNAMON & SULTANA BALLS - EASY VEGAN PROTEIN BALLS

I find that looking for a delicious and nutritious snack can sometimes be a struggle.

I love having fruit, but sometimes, fruit just doesn’t cut it… well, say hello to these incredible cinnamon & sultana vegan protein balls!

These easy vegan protein balls take minimal effort to whip up, and includes a handful of staple pantry items that most vegans should have in their household.

With the addition of some vanilla protein powder, these easy vegan protein balls hit the spot when you’re looking for a bite-sized snack that is good for you also.

This particular vegan protein ball recipe utilises ingredients such as oats, peanut butter and sultanas to make a great snack that’ll last up to a week in the fridge or 3 months in the freezer - perfect little go-to snack!

All you need to do to make these tasty easy vegan protein balls is place all ingredients in a large mixing bowl, use some muscle to mix, and then roll into your desired ball size. I find that this recipe makes about a dozen vegan protein balls.

These easy vegan protein balls are:

  • Low in ingredients

  • High in protein

  • Flourless

  • Can be made in less than 5 minutes

As I mentioned before, these easy vegan protein balls will last up to a week in the fridge, or alternatively, 3 months in the freezer. I personally prefer storing these in the freezer as it helps keep the shape and they are a nice snack to grab out of the freezer when you are looking for something small.

You can definitely get a bit more creative with ingredients for these vegan protein balls, but I find the combination of cinnamon and sultanas works perfectly to make one of the tastiest and easy vegan protein balls that you’ve EVER tried.

INGREDIENTS

Cinnamon & Sultana Easy Vegan Protein Balls

  • 1 & 1/2 cups rolled oats

  • 2 tbsp sultanas

  • 1 cup peanut butter

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

  • 1 scoop (30g) vanilla protein powder

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

METHOD

  • Place all ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Mix until well combined

  • Spoon out mixture to roll into your desired shaped vegan protein ball. You may need to have a small bowl of water handy to wet your hands and to roll the mixture much more efficiently.

  • Allow balls to set in the fridge or freezer in a sealed container before eating (these vegan protein balls will last 1 week in the fridge or 3 months in the freezer)
