Thins Onion Rings Salt & Balsamic Vinegar Review

Thins Onion Rings Salt and Balsamic Vinegar

Finding vegan-friendly salt & vinegar chips can be a bit of a challenge in Australia. That’s why I was excited to spot the Thins Onion Rings – Salt & Vinegar flavour – and the good news is, they’re accidentally vegan.

You’ll find these new Thins Onion Rings flavour at Woolworths for $5 a bag, and they are a crunchy snack worth checking out.

Most of the Thins Onion Rings range isn’t vegan, with many flavours containing dairy. But the Salt & Balsamic Vinegar and Hot & Spicy options are vegan-friendly. So if you’re vegan, you’ve got at least two choices to enjoy from the Thins Onion Rings range.

Taste Test – Thins Onion Rings Salt & Vinegar

I’m a big fan of savoury snack, and here’s what stood out to me with these Thins Onion Rings Salt & Balsamic Vinegar flavour:

  • Flavour: The salt & vinegar hits first. It’s tangy, sharp, and more noticeable than the onion flavour itself.

  • Texture: Light, airy, and super moreish – you can easily eat half a bag without realising.

  • Balance: The onion flavour is subtle, letting the salt & vinegar take centre stage.

Why You’ll Love Thins Onion Rings

  • Accidentally Vegan – no animal ingredients in the Thins Onion Rings Salt & Vinegar flavour.

  • A Salt & Vinegar Chip option – if you’ve been missing that classic flavour as a vegan, then this could be your new favourite savoury snack. Finding vegan friendly salt & vinegar chips can be hard to find, but these are a great alternative.

  • Available at Woolworths for $5.

If you’re a vegan who loves salt & vinegar, these Thins Onion Rings are a game changer. They’re tangy, crunchy, and easy to snack on. While not every flavour in the range is vegan, this one is a winner and well worth trying.
